They were always available to us both in person and digitally. There was never a question too silly or left unanswered. They collaborated so well with our relator, it felt like a cohesive team working towards the same goal, our goal. VU offers competitive rates, but their loan officers seem to miss the mark on open and honest communication. Unfortunately you probably won't know your loan officer is a dud until its too late. If you can find a better offer or even one that is remotely close to VU somewhere else, take it and avoid the VU headaches.
