I would recommend Veterans United one thousand percent and then some. They were so communicative throughout the entire process. Never once did I feel as though I did not understand what was happening or lost. Any questions that I did have, they answered and were extremely patient. The entire VU team was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It made me feel as though this was not my first time buying a home because it felt so natural. I was afraid the process would be long, hard, and maybe someone would pull the wool over my eyes. But the transparency of the VU team made all those fears go away. All I had to do was tell VU I had a week to find a house, and they handled the rest. They provided us with a realtor who was absolutely fantastic, and our lending team took great care of us. We are blown away at how simple and painless they made the process of buying—even from a couple thousand miles away. I’m sure there are probably lower rates at smaller lenders but VU is really good at working with the challenges and idiosyncrasies of military life and that made it so much less stressful.

Our experience was not what we had hoped for. Our loan officer was great though and did what he could to keep us in the loop and explain why it took so much longer than it should have. Disappointed in the process but glad its done.

I'm very glad I chose Veterans United to purchase my first home. The whole home buying process seemed very overwhelming but they somehow made it understandable in bite size pieces. I was super anxious and lost at the beginning and they held my hand at each step. With their insurance brokerage, I found cheaper auto, home, and flood insurance.
Vishal and the entire team were great throughout the entire process. I always knew where I was in the process and could reach them for questions.
